Food Vendor Info & Application
HarvFEST on the Harbour returns to downtown Pictou on Saturday, October 24 from 2–6 pm, bringing an afternoon of live music, family activities, food and fall fun to Water Street and the Pictou Waterfront. Full event details here.
This year, HarvFEST will not include an artisan or makers market. Vendor opportunities are reserved for food trucks and other food and beverage vendors.
We’re looking for a great mix of food options to help feed a hungry HarvFEST crowd. Food trucks, mobile food vendors, specialty food and beverage providers, and other ready-to-eat food vendors are welcome to apply.
Vendor Requirements & Fees:

Maintain a clean, tidy and professional-looking food truck, trailer, tent or serving area, including exterior and customer-facing areas; properly dispose of waste generated by their operation.

Hold all required permits, licences and food safety certifications.

Carry appropriate liability insurance.

Provide an inclusive and welcoming experience for all guests and conduct themselves professionally throughout the event.

Be prepared to be set up on-site no later than 1:30 pm the day of the event.

Pay a fee of $45.60 (inclusive of HST) for food trucks and trailers or $28.50 (inclusive of HST) for tents or table set-ups in advance of the event via e-transfer or in person at the Pictou's Town Hall - 40 Water Street.
Vendor space is limited. Applications will be reviewed based on available space, suitability for the event and our goal of offering a good variety of food and beverage options. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
